All I can say about avocado and weight is I lost a bunch. I replaced lots of saturated fats with mono / plant fats and lost weight. It is so satisfying and holds me from 8 until 3 with a few pecans around noon. Since it keeps bs so steady it eleviates the fluctuating bs hunger so I need way less snacks. It's mostly healthy fat and fiber so nothing really in it to raise bs OR insulin. Best way to start the morning. Keeping everything as low and steady as possible. I save most of my protein for lunch and dinner. I eat a whole one a day. Half at BF and the other half split between lunch and dinner. There are so many different ways to eat it. BF I usually smash or just chunk with sea salt. Sometimes I make guacamole but tedious lol. I like it creamy on lettuce wraps in place of mayo. I chink it into chopped salads. Loads of people use it in a smoothie but I like it by itself and wonder if blending it would cause more of a spike. Not sure. But it could be blended with romaine celery onion cilantro corriander cumin and some hot sauce or red pepper flakes. It had been the most bs satisfying food I have ever found. I spent my life ravenously Hungary even on low carb and this took all that away. Not am I not thinking about food and when is my next meal watching the clock but I eat far less food. So it did help with weight. I have suggested it to many and not only on this forum and they are amazed how filling it is and how long they can go between meals without snacking. It truly is my super food. Let me know if you try it!!!
