[QUOTE="Thundercat, post: 363839, member: 51047"] One very annoying aspect is how doctors etc pin every health prpblem to diabetes. With small things its bad enough but can be serious. I had an undiagnosed duonenal ulcer for 2 years. In and out of hospital, violently sick,in almost constant pain. Every doctor saw my bs which was elevated from ulcer and vomiting as the cause not the outcome. The rows with one doctor were severe and traumatic. Nothing I said would convimce them that I wasn"t neglecting my diabetes. I was worn out from worry and frustration trying to regulate bs with no medical help. Nightmare. Luckily for me I moved to a different place and so had to switch hospitals and for the first time in what would have then been 18 years had a medical team who listened tp patients instead of presumimg we are all inept. Sadly, family issues meant I moved back again to original area a few years back and am once again talking to original rocks (sorry, I mean doctors!)
