[QUOTE="nailchewer, post: 1322672, member: 30532"] I used to just jump in the car and go wherever, when ever i wanted, now i have to plan so i guess i am still resisting the fact that i am a type 2 diabetic. (Denial) I always test now before a journey, for safety and always carry a banana and water (just in case). I do not get lows and neither do i get many highs. I love the fact that i am now very comfortable with my eating regime, if anything a little smug, i am glad that i know i have type 2 and have been looking after myself for the past 20 years ( Acceptance).
