I was diagnosed with type 2 back in 2017. When diagnosed my Hba1c was 104, three months after it came to 64 and now every time I check I get no more than 42. This month I had a test and I got 41. What do you make of this? Also, my cholesterol, liver, and creatine are well within the range.
Please note, the blood test always after eating and medication.

The hba1c test is not affected by food or the medication taken for the day.

How could you have a proper FPG & lipid panel without fasting ?
Also, 41 is still pre-diabetic, what is your diet like ?

As far as I know 41 is non diabetic albeit on the cusp of pre diabetic which is 42

When I have my annual review or any other time I’m never asked to fast before bloods.
