Non-insulin injectable medication (incretin mimetics)
I was diagnosed last May
6 month check was 70mmol but they didn't tell me or do anything about it

Recently back to GP as very very tired and they said it's now 64mmol

What does this actually mean and they said its not good but improved - what should it be and what do I need to do to get there?

If your HBA1c is going lower then it means you are on the right track so you should be congratulated. Rome was not built in a day.
This is a marathon and not a sprint and the more you educate yourself by keeping a food diary and testing your blood sugars it will become easier because you will be able to tell which foods to eat in smaller portions or eliminate from your diet.

Nobody here can tell you what you can and cannot eat or how many carbohydrates, that is what your meter is for and there are people here who eat only 10g of carbs up to 150 and anything in between. You have to find your own level.

There are also other factors that will have an effect on your blood sugars, other conditions you may have, infections, stress, exercise or lack of........so as you can see it needs a few weeks before you get the hang of it.

Keep plugging away and ask any questions you may have.
