Had a chat with a man who we meet on our walk , who has dogs, both rescue dogs , made a lot of fuss of them , not much I know but the social.aspects of this meeting makes us all feel good......

Got taken to a cafe for a treat and ordered a chicken pesto salad. Which was sugar laden. Apologised profusely but explained that diabetic and asked for something without sugar or starchy carb. Declined fry up as already had one for brekkie and they did me scrambled eggs and smoked salmon. Yum. Didn't even have cake. (Only have thin sliver on family birthdays so very rarely now!)

Gave my neighnours son a book on the facts of life and went through it with him.
Took him home and got him through the embaressment with his dad on growing up!!
Bless him!! (Son, not dad-lol!!)
