I'm just lurking at the moment but couldn't leave this thread without a wish for you to feel better very soon! xMorning all. I tried your melted cheese on Ryvita @Annb and enjoyed it. It was something different. I'm in a lot of pain so I don't think I'll be eating much today. Feel more like going back to bed.
I often have that - it's tasty and simple to do when I really don't have the energy or the resilience to stand or use my hands very much. I hope you feel better soon. Not a bad idea to go back to bed, if that's the way you are feeling.Morning all. I tried your melted cheese on Ryvita @Annb and enjoyed it. It was something different. Hmmm.... I like nothing better than sampling new and unfamiliar cheeses; my idea of heaven @MrsA2.Nice trip to country show today. Tried a few cheeses and rums, bought one of the latter. Mainly watched horses and dogs.
thank youI'm just lurking at the moment but couldn't leave this thread without a wish for you to feel better very soon! x
Oh no, @Annb sorry you didn’t get on with the recipe, hope this one is better for you. Thanks for the suggestion Rosemary. Coincidentally, I looked that same recipe up online a few minutes ago and decided it would fill the bill.
Hugs for what's to come. Our very elderly cat isn't doing too well. He's 19. We lost his sister last year. It will have been 39 years since we were last catless. Hubbys even more of a softy than me. Not looking forward to next couple of days.
I was foolish enough to taste the pineapply fruit cake. It tasted absolutely great but so very pudding-like. Put my BG sky high though. I made the Granny's Kitchen sultana cake today and it worked fine, but it is very dry. I've wrapped it and put it in a plastic box alongside the other cake and hope it will be better after a day or two. Not sure what to do with the first cake. Maybe Alistair will take it and do something with it.Oh no, @Annb sorry you didn’t get on with the recipe, hope this one is better for you.
Hope everyone is ok and enjoying the weekend. Been very lazy today and enjoyed sitting in the garden working on my to read pile. Let’s hope @Antje77 has had a more exciting time! Advantage of the weather, too hot to cook so salad for lunch and just had scrambled eggs on livlife toast for dinner
Not sure how I changed from being the notorious couch potato to the one having the famously exciting times, but yes, I had a very exciting time!Let’s hope @Antje77 has had a more exciting time!
Yes, pets worm their way into your heart @MrsA2 and if anything happens to them, it's just like losing a member of your family. The motorways were kind to us today. I'd feared we would get stuck in searing heat, but no.
Eggs for breakfast, seedy crackers with salami and cheese for lunch. Small ice cream.
D: meatballs with tomato sauce and cheese. Another mini icecream.
