It's a river cruise, visiting Christmas markets. Temptation around every corner!!!Are you on a cruise MrsA2?
Please remember 111 as well in case gp slow or not available. Our 97 year old neighbour had to spend a night in hospital last week with bronchitis. Fine now but need extra strong antibiotics. Do look after self and don't take no for an answer from the gp xxxI have Bronchitis. It came on so suddenly and I didn't sleep at all last night through coughing and not being able to breathe. Have rung the dr so hopefully will get anti-biotics.
I hope you get the treatment for bronchitis and get over it very quickly. It's horrible not being able to breathe properly.Had my first Christmas dinner and was fairly good. Kept my word and surprised the old gent with my pudding! He loved it. I have another Christmas dinner on Saturday but I don't think I will be going to that. I have Bronchitis. It came on so suddenly and I didn't sleep at all last night through coughing and not being able to breathe. Have rung the dr so hopefully will get anti-biotics.
Hug for the temptation, but do enjoy the cruise. It sounds lovely. It's a river cruise, visiting Christmas markets. Temptation around every corner!!!
Oh how lovely! You're doing great with avoiding all that temptation as well! It's a river cruise, visiting Christmas markets. Temptation around every corner!!!
I visited Koln very briefly in the mid 1980s on a trans-europe bus journey (not coach, it wasn't that posh!) It blew me away with its beauty and all the street entertainment - hope you have a really lovely time!Dinner last night was salad, salmon and cheese. Too much wine before, during and after. Luckily the mulled wine they served didn't up my bg much. Don't think there was much sugar or juices added just the spices.
B: egg fritatt, smoked salmon, yoghurt and seeds, 1 bite blueberry muffin.
L: picked at a tuna salad.
Heading our first market today, Cologne (Koln) apparently one of the biggest, eg busiest. 7 different areas to explore.
Oh no I'm so sorry to hear about the bronchitis. Not deserved after your pudding generosity! Hope you get those antibiotics soon - in the meantime wrap up warm and treat yourself very gently.Had my first Christmas dinner and was fairly good. Sorry for your loss @Antje77. Here's hoping the platonic relationship is a wonderful experience, and that the dogs all get along!Funeral today of a friend/colleague I mostly lost touch with but liked a lot, and I've spent a lot of time with him in the past being a deckhand with him and his partner for a whole sailing season.
He died very unexpectedly. Twenty year old daughter who's done amazing. I spent some time talking to her, I lost my mum suddenly when I was twenty, she instantly declared us sisters.
There was something of an 'after party' if you can call it this, so many people from the past. Which was very nice really, but I'm utterly tired now.
There was a very tasty tomato soup and a couple of beers at the after thing on the ship. No idea what as in the soup, but despite generously dosing for an unknown quantity of carbs it took a couple of correction doses to get back to normal.
All fine, who cares.

And a second date with this Tom will happen after all.(This one: https://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/what-have-you-eaten-parallel-chat.177870/post-2734769)
I don't like him in 'that way', and I felt it wouldn't be fair to meet again with him being interested in more than I am. Until I decided it's up to him, why would I think I need to decide for someone else to protect them? I can use another night of interesting talk and a good hug, so I very clearly explained my doubts, and he'll be coming over on sunday, with his dog.
Which should become interesting with my two dogs and the sleepover dogs, none of them like large dogs usually. And his dog Shief has never met chickens, let alone ducks or turkeys, I'm quite sure we won't be bored.
Sounds like a wonderful cruise but a bit tempting too! Enjoy. It's a river cruise, visiting Christmas markets. Temptation around every corner!!!
Well done. It's a tough call for you having to include a certain number of carbs because of your meds but not triggering carb bingeing.Stayed off the carbs after breakfast, and kept myself busy (my busy is most people's plodding though) and tea was salmon and cauliflower with a white sauce mix with a bit thai red curry paste added, it was really good. That's a LOT of cauliflower, I might be blowing the duvet off tonight!I had some greek yogurt with two slices of tinned peaches (more leftovers) for dessert.
I had a few more carbs than I would like but it's a million miles away from a usual day's carb bingeing.

I had to look up Tartex - I'd never heard of it! Pleased Neil managed to stock you up on his trip to the mainland.A single sausage for breakfast, followed by 2 RyVita with Tartex. I love Tartex but haven't been able to get it here. Neil bought some (a pack of 12 tubes) for me in Inverness after he left the hospital. Didn't mind not having any more sausages. Didn't like them anyway - they were meat-free ones.
Fish pie with pre-frozen mash in the oven and ready shortly.
