I was recently told that the seed cycling some women, my self included, use or used for peri/menopause symptom relief can also be effective for reducing the frequency and intensity of migraines. I have no experience with that, but it might be easy enough to try just in case it works. No yesterday post from me as I suddenly got a massive migraine at 1 pm and ended up being in bed until 9, and of course then I could not sleep last night
There had been a walk and roast beef before I collapsed.
And then some scrambled eggs at 4 a.m as I was very hungry by then.
Today was exercise class, coffee.
Lunch was pate on 2 slices livlife. Just one loaf and a few slices left. A chocolate icecream, lc, I'd made from yesterday's mousse.
Dinner was cold roast beef and coleslaw, then yoghurt and chopped brazils with a tiny bit ice cream. I'm trying to make the ice cream better for me my mixing a little with greek yoghurt, seems to work.
Thank you. I'll look into itI was recently told that the seed cycling some women, my self included, use or used for peri/menopause symptom relief can also be effective for reducing the frequency and intensity of migraines. Glad your appetite is backBreakfast was the last little bit of the beef stew with chickpea rice with an egg poached in it.
It was early so I am hungry already but will "fill up" with some tea.
2nd meal will be a rather large pork chop with some Brussels sprouts.
Edit: it was yummy - all done in the oven with ghee. Nicest pork chop I've had in ages and the tiny Brussels were delicious.
Enjoy having him there while you can. Enjoy your lunch.Got my grandson staying with me for a few days before he goes back to America, so we are going out for lunch. With my bg being quite low for a change, I'm going to be careful what I eat and not upset the applecart. It's lovely having him here with me. I shall miss him when he's gone. It's nice to have someone to look after and not just me. Have a nice day everyone and enjoy the sunshine even if it is cold.
You can come look after me, please. I look after everyone else and it would be nice to be on the receiving end for onceIt's nice to have someone to look after
Where do you live? Give me a couple of hours to pack lol!!You can come look after me, please. I look after everyone else and it would be nice to be on the receiving end for once
That is so sad. Poor wee Lisy.I'm so sorry to hear you're feeling this bad again, I hope they'll be able to figure out what is wrong, and more importantly, do something about it.
Could this be related to your kidney issues?
Tagging @Grant_Vicat , I know next to nothing about kidneys, he does.
And nothing overdramatic about preparing. We'll all disappear at some point, no matter if it'll take us many more years or a short while. I have no reason to expect to die for a long while and still my friends know to contact the forum because there are people here who care about me and would want to know. The same goes for you @Annb .
I think it's very thoughtful of you to make sure we'll know if anything happens, thank you!
I was confronted with the unpredictability of life just now.
An hour ago, one of my best friends called me to let me know one of his dogs had just been run over by a car, he was waiting for the animal ambulance, and he thought she had already died.
The dog. Lisy, is the sister of my own dog, I was there when she was born and took care of mum and her 5 pups in my house for the first 8 or 10 weeks. Lisy and her mum are my regular sleepover dogs, often staying with me for a weekend, a week, sometimes longer. Very much a part of my life for the past almost 12 years.
Today my friend Ray and I went to Germany to buy cheap tobacco so his dogs stayed with mine while we were away. Lisy's happiness when she came in this morning for a big cuddle was the last time I touched her, and I had no idea.
It hurts.

Spoke to the nurse but she could only suggest asking the GP for stronger painkillers. She reckons it will take about 2 weeks for results of the monitoring to get back to the GP. Actually, feeling a bit better this afternoon - once I had a deep sleep in the big chair. Heart not so jittery and managed to walk across the floor to make the cup of tea I have beside me at the moment. That allowed Neil to have a bit of time to catch up on his sleep as well. All to the good for both of us.
Hope plans worked out today.Well, lunch with my grandson didn't work out! It was one of those days where nothing went as planned so we will try again today. Picking my new glasses up today. Fingers crossed they help. I'm struggling even typing on here. Have a great day everyone.
