Had a packet of ready salted crisps (for me, a good standbye to settle my stomach, I've found) and some more fizzy water and dozed a while in the kitchen chair and am feeling quite a lot better, thanks. That Stevia is dangerous stuff! For me, that is. For others it's probably a life saver. BG's a bit up, but that's the crisps. I'll have to give it a rest (eating, that is) to let my stomach recover but almost back to normal otherwise. Definitely low carb, if I eat again today. I was reminded in an early morning showing of a food programme - can't remember the title, but they did an investigation into nitrates/nitrites in processed meat and that reminded me that I was trying to get away from ham and bacon, as well as sausages so, I was wondering why I don't just have unprocessed pork for breakfast, instead of bacon. That's why I bought pork at the butcher's today; to be sliced very thinly and served with eggs. Another experiment. I'm sure people have done it before, but I haven't. Not tonight, though. Maybe tomorrow morning.
