Existing on fluids just now. Yesterday I had just some of the oxtail, but no stew or broth and by evening I thought I should use up the veg soup I had left in the fridge. It tasted and smelled fine, but either my sense of smell and taste hasn't come back to normal yet, or there was no indication that it was off. My stomach seems to know better than my taste buds and I spent the rest of the night with my stomach ejecting the offensive stuff. So far today just had some water and some ginger tea. Just about to try ordinary tea. The cupboard clearing didn't get very far yesterday. The first one I emptied had mould growing on its back wall so, with everything out and spread around the kitchen, I washed it down with a bleach solution and, once it was dry Neil put a first coat of anti-mould paint on it and then a second one this morning. Can't put the shelves and their contents back in yet, so I'm sitting in a disaster area. Em came in to show me a huge bag of vintage marbles she'd bought on e-bay. Around 200+. I hadn't realised that she had started a collection of vintage marbles, but she now has abut 220, with the new ones. It was a surprise that she appreciates the colours and styles and how they are made. She constantly surprises me with what is going on in her enquiring mind.
