Tonight I tried LCHF Toad in the hole - this recipe: http://christinebailey.co.uk/recipe/paleo-toad-in-the-hole/ I had to buy Tapioca starch via Amazon - and Almond Flour from Holland & Barrett, neither cheap! For the two of us I did 2/3 recipes, calculated it to be around 13g per serving. The finished dish: Taste results: actually pretty good. I'm probably super critical, my partner said he loved it! A little coconut'y so I would fry sausages in olive oil - still try it with the coconut milk next time, but maybe then with almond milk if still coconut'y. Also, needed a little longer than 20 minutes, I had oven at 180 fan, maybe 200 fab for 22 minutes or so would be good. A little soggy - but a good crust on it. So, maybe not a Michelin Star dinner but would definitely make it again - with a slight refinement.
