Good evening all. Once again I’m way behind. Must do better. Been away over the weekend so eating out. Saturday was a small lunch of M&S Pork crackling with dinner of bunless bacon cheeseburger with onion and mayonnaise at Five Guys. Earlier in the day I succumbed to a Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate with cocoa whip. Previous consumption revealed a larger than normal, but acceptable BG rise. This time I was wearing a Libre. Oh dear, should definitely be on the ‘don’t go anywhere near’ list - peaked at 9.6! Yesterday was one large meal - late lunch/early dinner. Had a bunless cheeseburger at Handmade Burger co with sides of halloumi fries and chicken wings. Won’t be going back - distinctly average at best and overpriced for what arrived on the plate. Ate some extra thick double cream back at the hotel. Today had a small bag of pork crackling at a meeting at which the offerings were not LC friendly (colleague declared proudly that he’d bought some healthy options to go with the sandwiches - pineapple, grapes and quinoa!). Dinner was at Nando’s - two plain legs and a side of grilled halloumi. Followed by some Hotel Chocolat supermilk hazelnut. Edited to insert missed out word.
