Food today: 1 window each crackling and cheese (brie and cranberry) 20 gms cheese, about a fly's weight crackling around 13.00 hrs; Evening (just eaten) salmon (marinaded in garlic and rosemary, pan fried in butter, crisp skin - proud of myself) avocado, large bowl of salad with lots of chia and linseeds. Water, tea, a latte in Waitrose. Today was my Dad's birthday so laid a wreath on the grave - next grave is his brother and within a cricket pitch are 1 set of their grandparents and their parents. Quite fitting and comforting. Lots of parcels picked up today (literally a car full) including air fryer. I have taken against it instantly - 3 books, gadgets and gizmos - I just wanted halloumi fries and crsipy skin on my salmon not a degree level course before eating. Julie has been quite poorly since Monday - involves samples and blood tests - but seems to be getting better so air fryer may be used to cook the lamb chops I am marinading. Urgent blood tests around here mean Friday 13th 12.00 - madam cancelled it. Over the last 3 days sky and DPD have been given several volleys from her - made me laugh but I went Nordic walking today in case she noticed.
