@maglil55 - I need to have another look at DD, I've seen a few of their recipes that look nice (particularly the Mexican scrambled eggs). Just glad its not cabbage 24/7 like it used to be! Beautiful sunny (but chilly) day here for my weekly outing. Lovely brekkie at Toby Carvery followed by a wander round TKMaxx, Morrisons, B&M and Aldi. Mainly buying new beds for dogs and stocking up on Christmas reductions that Mr C knows he will eat. No doubt most of it will find its way to the bottom of a freezer and still be there next December. So..... Yesterday Bed: 6.9, this morning FBG 7.6 (a bit disappointed as up on yesterday) B: A vegetarian Toby Carvery buffet breakfast (I won't go in to details but it definitely wasn't low carb) Followed by aforesaid shopping Got home and BG was 9.6 - so only a 2.0 rise for a very carby breakfast L: Nowt D: Mr C is cooking one of his multiple dish curry dinners - for me it means aubergine in a tomato based sauce, spicy (but not hot) spinach with paneer, cauliflower in a yoghurt sauce, dry roast celeriac in spices - he's defrosted cauli rice but I think perhaps cauliflower with cauli rice might be a bit much. He's making lamb tikka for himself to go with the other curries. Drinks: Diet pepsi with meds, diet pepsi at the Toby Carvery (because I don't like their coffee) and the rest of the day will be water. I'm still on dry January!
