Message: <blockquote data-quote="Annb" data-source="post: 2196008" data-attributes="member: 25851">Up until a few weeks ago, there was an Iceland in Stornoway but it was in an impossible position for not-very-mobile folk.  And it was a franchise run by some local people.  It failed and closed down.  The main custom for the supermarkets here are from out of town and use cars to get shopping.  There was no car park at the Iceland shop and the footfall was very low.   It was pretty well bound to fail.  I never got to it due to my very limited mobility.  I have a similar problem with other fish shops in Stornoway.  There is a market stall in summer, which I can get to, but with weather like it is today, you wouldn't expect an outdoor market to run - and that applies to most of the winter here.  The haddock that I had was from the Co-op.Had my liver and bacon - bacon quite crisp and liver only just done.  Great and so far I'm not very hungry.[ATTACH=full]37744[/ATTACH]Edited to fix typo</blockquote>
