I missed my veg too much and never felt quite right in the digestive system. I was a veggie about 30 years ago for a few years and never felt better so I've reverted to that. I do eat eggs and cheese but don't eat cream and milk because I don't like them and they certainly don't like me. On occasion I eat full fat Greek Yoghurt but not often. What I'm trying to get at is that there is two parts to this - first is life is for living so you need to eat what you enjoy and what suits you and second is working out which of the foods you really enjoy helps with your BGs. Its a balancing game. Life is too short to eat stuff you either don't enjoy or doesn't agree with you (but it really helps if you are happy with experimenting).
Hello everyone - what a beautiful sunny day!! @Annb I did experiment with carnivore (and, over the years I've tried a 5 day water only fast, intermittent fasting, the 5-2 diet, Newcastle Diet - both with and without diet drinks - and Diet Doctor and just about anything else I could think of) but there was always a reason they weren't for me. Oh.... forgot the egg fast! https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/egg-fast-diet-menu-plan-low-carb-keto/ - this one is best if you live on your own! ;):shifty:
