I'm telling myself that this is not the coronavirus because there have been no reported cases of it on the Island, but I am beginning to suspect that it might be a mild version of it, whatever is reported. If it is, it's not a serious case. So far, it's not as bad as the flu I had a couple of years ago. I am a bit more isolated from Neil than usual, but we only have one kitchen and one utility room, so there is some cross-over. Clearly handwashing all the time and following other recommendations doesn't totally protect but we keep going with that. Em had something, DIL has something and now me - the "boys" (Neil, his brother and his 14 year old son) seem to be OK for now. I still have some meat in he freezer and some veg in the fridge. I will need eggs soon and some more bacon. Still have some frozen left-over meals and I will use them - however little I enjoy them. Most of my food today will be in the early part since I seem to feel worse as the day goes on so today's meals: Breakfast - fried streaky bacon Lunch - 2 lamb chops with butter fried cabbage (boxes of blanched cabbage in the freezer) Dinner - no plans but we'll see. Maybe the broccoli cheese I might have made yesterday. Keep as well as you can everyone. And keep staying safe.
