Glad to see that Mr Slim is home. That will be a relief for you, not to mention the jobs he can help with now. Food - FBG high at 13.2, despite upping the basal dose last night, so just mugs of tea until 12.30 when I had 2 eggs scrambled with some double cream. BG before insulin and eating was 13.5. Still hungry, of course but will have to wait until later to have anything else. Probably chicken and mushrooms. I'll also have to make some soup, using the stock from the roasted lamb but will have that tomorrow. Need to be careful about the veg content though. Had a call from the GP surgery receptionist - they need a repeat sample - no explanation so either the first one wasn't done properly or they've found something that needs checking. My cleaning lady came this morning, so the floors are all sparkling clean for a change. I got her to use the steamer - it was either that or bleach since I'm not too sure how the detergent we have deals with virus or bacteria. Turns out she also had a really bad cough back in January, but did not self isolate at any stage and continued doing her cleaning jobs. She is also a care worker for the local authority so who knows what she has been unintentionally spreading.
