Hi All Been missing a bit but will go back to Friday’s supper was roast cod with a dash of Kikkoman Teriyaki sauce and panfried scallops. Saturday was lunch of scrambled eggs and a slice of Dr Almond bread & butter. Tandoori King Prawns and cauli bhajee. Sunday brunch was 2 slices bacon and scrambled eggs. Supper was lamb chump chop fried with mushrooms & tomato. My boys were watching golf and having a few beers so got them Chinese duck & pancakes pack each from Sainsburys which they really loved. I looked at the pack this morning and it wasnt really very carby. I thought if I only had a couple of pancakes piled high with shredded duck and cucumber/spring onions and ate with a knife and fork it would be a nice change and easy “take out” style meal. I was interested that @MrsT 123 made a successful LoDough pizza another possibility. Today made green above veg soup for lunch with last very hard slice of Dr Almond bread. Boys having pie & chips tonight and I am going to make a buttery leek & mature cheddar fritters with a bit of ground almonds to bind the mix inspired by a recipe Tesco emailed me today which included flour. Will report back. Breakfasts as always one slice of HiLo toast with thick butter and copious tea.
