Up at 4.30am - that's late for me. Took half a dose of Co-codamol and managed to get comfortable in the chair and went back to sleep for a bit. Perhaps should have taken a full dose and maybe slept longer. Breakfast: 2 fried eggs on wholemeal toast (decided to give it a try since my digestive system seems to be clogging up). Took enough insulin to stop it spiking my BG. Actually dropped from 12.9 to 9.8! Feeling pretty unwell (heart pounding pretty fast and feeling weak) so I had to go and lay on my bed for a while. Still feeling quite weak but decided to get up and see what I can make of the day. It's very cold here - maybe that's the problem. I was going to take my pharmacy-full amount of tablets with yoghurt but I took the new one out of the fridge and, oddly, it wasn't sealed. Tasted pretty sour as well, even though its sell by date is next week. So I had to take my pills with water, which was a struggle (I'm pretty bad at getting pills down even when tipping my body over to the left side - there seems to be more room in my throat that way) hence the yoghurt. Edited to fix apostrophe in the wrong place. Could the fish from last evening have upset me? May just throw the rest of it out, just in case. I do have some lamb chops in the fridge and I have plenty of pea soup, so it will probably be one or other of these for my next meal. Not hungry enough to decide just now.
