I fear it is not dear heart.... I eat no carbs no, except the little that's in my nuts, seeds, veg and a very little fruit... How mean of Mr B to begrudge you a little rice... I don't understand what your Miracle is but I wouldn't progress to the darn things... I get hot with carbs too... like the menopause? Nasty things..bacon and scam egg, with small latte (15g carbs)
2 brown rice cake (12g carbs) with butter and marmite, and two LC cheese straws
lemon ginger chicken, green beans, broccoli, orange pepper and one tablesp rice (??gcarb), then stawberries, blueberries and cream.
checked bg after the rice cakes, from 5.9 to 6.8 at 1 hr, then 6.7 at 2hrs. not ideal, but I'm still wondering about enzyme lag...
forgot to check bg before evening meal, but 6.7 at 2 hrs after.
No carb plague all weekend. It was definitely the wheat that was a problem.
But is 1 tblsp of rice really worth the effort? Mr B even had a whinge because I stole that spoonful off his plate.
