That sounds like the perfect meal... envy you...Might have to make a Goan fish curry tomorrow.... lush... Full fat coconut milk and cream is what you should be eating... not the chapati so much though... if it was a wholemeal one there's plenty of fibre on the other hand and they're not huge.... Coconut water is wonderful and a great re-hydrater, but it does have a natural sugar content... I ration myself, but you need to test to see what it does to you... you might be lucky and be able to drink it whenever you like... I tend to test everything...
Great newsBlueberry smoothie
Bacon and eggs
Rump steak, flat mushrooms & peas (didn't count them but more than the 24 odd!)
Few pieces of honeydew melon (will test after, not sure) maybe a fat bomb.
Went to see the doctor who did op this morning and he is very pleased with progress so far, stitches even taken out after only 6 days, wasn't expecting that. 2 week wait to find out if radiotherapy needed, he did comment my wife is strange (already knew that) in as much as he has never seen a tumour like this attached to the salivary duct or the size of the duct (too big) we even got photos of the tumour & operation in progress but thought to gruesome to post in a food thread
Sara says thank you for all the kind messages, we have both been blown away with the amount of good support received lately, makes you surprised at how much kindness there is out there!!
True - I'd probably nod off! :grin:Try ironing while you're watching - or - listening to the cricket on Five Live - you won't even notice it...trust me...
I'm just not losing any more... I am going to be more careful, but the trouble is, travelling as much as I do, eating sensibly is difficult sometimes... and when I get home everyone comes to see me and I'm cooking all sorts of stuff I shouldn't eat...my littlest granddaughter takes so much attention I forget and then have to eat something on the run... and then I'm hungry and I eat too much too quickly I think... ramble.....
MmmmmYou need to put butter in too, then whizz it - it comes out like cappuccino...lush....
Try the Alpro soya ones. There's plain, plain with coconut or plain with almond. The fruity ones are off limits carbs-wise tho.I don't have any excuse! I'm just eating too much cream and yoghurt, but it's something of a comfort for me at the mo so I'm loath to give it up :-(
I've tried the soya lattes and I'm hooked they're so tasty especially with sweetner in.Think I'll try that As I'm lactose intolerant i usualy hhave lacto free milk in tea just a splash. Can't stand any other milk. Tried them all. But I've had soya milk cappuccino at costa coffee before and it was nice.
Thanks I'll give them a go.Try the Alpro soya ones. There's plain, plain with coconut or plain with almond. The fruity ones are off limits carbs-wise tho.
