What is Desmonds please?

I have been chatting to a Type 1 friend about Type 2 and he said that as a Type 1 he used something called DAFNE.
He says to ask about DESMONDS which is for Type 2s.
We were talking about carbs... So I am assuming it's some sort of specific diet?

I was diagnosed type 2 in early march ,when I saw the DN she was really helpful and put me forward for a Desmond Course I found it really interesting and helpful. I also have just had my retinal screening appointment,waiting for results to be returned.. Good luck

I was diagnosed type two last September and after lots of waiting (my referral went missing!) I am book onto the Desmond's day on Saturday ! Can't wait to get some info without spending hours on the net getting more and more confused!
