Can you please tell me what prediabetic is
It is when your blood glucose levels are higher than normal but less than 47 mmol

Lots of people have found if the follow a low carb high fat diet they can get BG back into normal range
Ok thank youOP is type 1. And, while there was absolutely nothing suggesting otherwise in your post, just for the sake of clarity for OP, it is worth highlighting that pre diabetes does not apply to type 1: once you are type 1, no matter what you are eating or what your blood sugar level range is or what your hba1c is, you will continue to be type 1 diabetic.
Ok thank youThe term prediabetic is used to describe people who are in danger of crossing the threshold from non-diabetic to Type 2 diabetic. A non-diabetic will have an HbA1c of under 42. Type 2 is generally diagnosed when an HbA1c is 48 or above. The range in between is classed as prediabetic. It doesn't apply to Type 1s.
