View attachment 22898 as I have read many different places the ideal blood glucose in between meal is around 4.5mmol , and because a normal response to raised insuine would knock blood sugar down real fast , the an ideal HbA1c would also be very close to around 4.5 / 30
but this is not what we aim for as diabetics as this would be impossible to most people to get to...
even normal non diabetic people do seem to get a higher morning number when ageing

Our blood glucose levels rise naturally as we age, or so I have read and have been told. I have no idea of the science behind it (maybe older people need more energy to keep them upright!)
