Three cats two of whom are young boys who torment the hell out of the elderly cat that we inherited from my son when his relationship broke up. All of our kitties pay for their keep though, we regularly find dead mice and rats under the kitchen table! I mean we are grateful that at least they don't bring LIVE livestock into the house but it's a bit of a jolt first thing in the morning before my wake up coffee :wideyed: We also have 6 laying hens but I am not sure if they count as pets. They sure do pay for their keep as well and we do spend a lot of our time saying stuff like 'Look at what they are doing now' so if providing amusement counts then our crazy chickens ARE pets :joyful:
