What should I do?

Today I went for a 12 hour fasting blood sugar test and the result came as 127mg/dl and according to that I'm diabetic since its greater than (125mg/dl). I did not go to a doctor I tested myself going to the lab. I also tested my FBS during the past 6 months and the readings were 96mg/dl and 92mg/dl respectively.

I have high cholesterol which goes in my family and the past two months have been excruciatingly stressful. I'm not over weight and my BMI is 21.6.

Please advice me what should I do next.

I suggest getting a formal diagnosis from your doctor before moving forward. That way, you can get any necessary medication. Let us know how you get on, there is a wealth of information on this forum about good ways of eating for diabetics, and how to handle different medications.
