What should my levels be?

Hey everyone, I’m quite a keen exercise enthusiast but I’ve not trained in a while, dairy farming takes it out of you.
I just wanted some advice on what people’s BG levels normally are before they exercise and what kind of exercise?
I do a lot of different things from weights to half marathons. But I’ve never really got it right to where I’m comfortable.
Any advice?
