What to do? Increase insulin or not?

Hi all, hope you are all doing ok?

I’m after a little advice please. On Tuesday my DN advised me to increase my evening dose of NovoRapid.

Currently, I administer the following:-

Before breakfast:- 4 units Levemir

Breakfast:- NovoRapid:- 16 units
Lunch:- NovoRapid:- 16 units
Dinner:- NovoRapid:- 18 units from 16 units.

Before bed:- Levemir:- 48 units

So on Tuesday I increased the dosage, on doing so I had a hypo.
I’ve found with NovoRapid this always happens If I increase more than 16 units hence why the dosage hasn’t gone above 16 units.

Now tho I’m not sure do I keep on seeing how I go with the increase of the insulin or not???

I’d be grateful for any thoughts, advice, experience you can offer. Thanks all in advance

@Libby3781 You have probably told us before, but why do they have you on fixed doses?
