What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

@debabdez
wow I’d love a group like this locally. I still maintain that compared to a huge number I read about, I have exceptional care from my DN DOC and pharmacy. It’s amazing the difference.. with hindsight my diabetes could have been diagnosed years earlier but that was amidst lots of medical complications and anomalies and a different GP. However as for your #boots issue push the complaint high. ( I’m only one little person and I made a decision to boycott boots following an article I read about the way they charge the NHS. I’m only one person but I’m sticking to my guns ! on the other hand I have a brilliant pharmacy story to share I had a needle malfunction recently and walked into a pharmacy -not my usual one and asked if I could exchange a needle. 5 minutes later I had a new box of 100 needles . Peak pharmacy ! I was able to go online and show the pharmacist all my details and she was brilliant.

Good morning all, 5.7 today. Nice but cool here. Home gym, but may squeeze in a 5k walk. Its great to get a few dry bright days, sure helps with mood and general ease at getting things done outside.
Well done @Debandez and @OrsonKartt for taking action on the issues dear to your heart. It’s inspirational ina “could I do something like that” kind of way. Hats off while I scratch my head.
Hope everyone is well or improving. Hope your BG is textbook. Have a great day.

Good morning all.

@Debandez -- Really well done spreading the word. I admire your dedication.
@Goonergal and @ianpspurs -- Hugs! Getting too little sleep tends to zap energy levels for the rest of the day in my experience.
@shelley262 -- Good luck on your 6 monthly test, though you won't need luck with your blood sugar numbers.
@dogslife -- Sorry to read about your broken tooth. Going to the dentist is no fun. Hugs!
@karen8967 -- Hope you feel better now after all these hypos last night.

Almost forgot -- Woke up with a slight headache again and fasting blood sugars with 5.4 still a bit higher than usual for me.

Have a great day all.

Good Afteringnoon folks, been a bit busy today.

A young 5.9 greeted me this morning.

This my posting yesterday afternoon on a different forum, also sort of sums today also.
" I haven't been nice to anybody today, but I've made a few people smile, spoken to a few strangers at the bus stop, who promptly left the queue, that made sure I got a seat hehehehe. "

Hi everyone today my blood sugars were 4.8 (libre) and 4.9 (meter) I have an update about the cough the inhaler isn’t really helping I’m not even sleeping at night so my mum has rung Freeman’s and they are trying to get me booked and n for a bronchoscopy. Hope your have a good day everyone

Hi everyone I need some help please as you all know I’ve been sick with rhinovirus tonight my blood sugar is 5.5 and going down but I’m really not in the mood to eat I was going to drink a cup of tea with some sugar in it but I couldn’t manage more than a few sips this morning and then I felt sick. Any advice appreciated

I'm sorry I can't offer any advice apart from this, perhaps you should seek qualified medical advice, remembering your anti rejection drugs mess things up big time.

LOL this reminds me of a discussion I took part in this morning about addressing a group of men and women as "you guys." Where I live we just say "y'all."

@Debandez your plans sound great. I enjoyed reading your post. Hope all goes well. And early Happy Anniversary!
@Ziggy2017 I hope you get into Freemans and get better soon.
@LornaFarrell, I hope your little one is better now.

Just an update on the problem I was having not wanting to eat and blood sugar being at 5.0 my dad just told me we have Ribena diluted juice in the fridge with a massive 11.5 grams of sugar per glass so just drinking that taking my inhaler then going to bed

Hope it works for you ziggy2017 xx
