How awesome is it, that it's Friday?! Wahey!

I am so excited for the weekend, I have a night out tomorrow with my friends, so tonight is a military operation:

1) spray tan
2) eyebrows
3) eyelashes

Haha. I'm such a northern lass! :joyful:

Catch up with some tv, have a nice meal (chili con carne) and might enjoy a glass of red wine or two ;)

Tomorrow will be finishing off my bathroom which I started before Christmas, starting to do my head in now and need to get it finishes asap

Good luck with that, it's going to be getting colder, wrap up warm

Sounds like a good plan to me! I loooove chilli con carne. My friend makes a mean one, I've never been able to get near as good results as her!

Haha loads of people seem to be in the same boat, a woman I work with has been working on her kitchen for what seems like the last decade!! :p

Oh yes, and we're right on the Atlantic coast too so we're used to never having warm days! Ever.

But the plan is to take a big furry coat because the venue we're going to has a cloakroom. Bonus!

I have a food shop to do tomorrow and on Sunday, washing and housework

I just buy the chili con carne sauce as it's quick and simple, but always buy a good quality one. The mince is cooking now, I let it simmer for an hour or so to tenderise the beef (it's less chewy that way) and then add the sauce, tinned toms, onions, mushrooms and loads of garlic. Always make my own garlic bread to go with it using those part-baked rolls, no one will come near us all tomorrow but who cares :D

Off to Tom Kerridge's Hand and Flowers pub in Marlow as a surprise for my OH 40th birthday. Hoping my libre will come in handy for a blow out feast

It's great to be young @zoze_j! Make the most of it.:) I'm in my 60s and will be doing what I do most nights - watch tv. Will probably have a couple of glasses of red wine.

I will, thank you! And 61 isn't ancient! What's that saying? You're only as old as you feel! I think you should come out clubbing with us @Prem51 :D:D:D

@zoze_j I'm almost 65 (officially an OAP soon) and I still think I'm 25 - until I look in the mirror! :(
Thanks for the invitation to go clubbing, but I need my sleep these days.

Well believe it or not, it's our works Christmas party tomorrow in Newcastle, quayside first for a Chinese meal then to the hotel for the rest of the day and night, best be carefull what I eat and drink but I won't be sitting in a corner feeling sorry for myself. Company pays for overnight stay and 5 course meal in hotel I just pay for drink, looking forward to it..

Few glasses of vino. Knit natter on Saturday, sew up my dolls for sale, visit my 81 yr old grumpy old mother on Sunday bliss...not.

Boring weekend for me. Work at 10pm Sun night and freaking about exam results.

Going for a run our this morning to watch some whippet racing but first need walk the dogs clean the house etc etc normal weekend chuckles

today I have housework to do and here I am stuck on the pc :p

tomorrow my grand daughter is coming for Sunday lunch so will have fun playing ponies with her, me being the pony o_O

have a good night out

I shall be spending the evening feeling sorry for my daughter - she was due to go and see the Chuckle Brothers at the Student Union with her mates but she's feeling rubbish (thinks she may have tonsillitis) and is at home in bed feeling ****.

The joys of parenthood - you never stop worrying about them :(

Clubbing....hmm, more of my hubbies past past times! I'm more of a rocker myself and unfortunately am not going out rockin tonight! I have already had one or two should I say, ciders!! Yes I know, not the best drink in the world for a diabetic (it is a calculated move!) and I am enjoying!... and my stress levels are much lower! Happy weekend folks!

Hi Nina. Packing for a week in Tenerife. Hoping it's a bit warmer than here. Will p.m you about my eylea injections before I go.
I did answer your thread a few weeks ago, but you have not been around for a while.
