Mrs and me have had a falling out, apparently i am more moody recently and the only thing i have change is going LC, and was thinking is it cos my BGs are still too low?(no higher than 4.9-5.2 any time of the day) or is it the remaining meds causing it?(im off gliclazide for 2 months now, still on 45mg Actos, 4x500mg Metformin, and 15mg Irebesartin(bp), and simvastatin(Not sure what doseage)). I dont feel depressed, just bored if anything, i am also wondering if its cos i seem to have more energy than i used to with the LC'ing and weight loss?

Well I don't know about the amount of meds you're taking, but this miserable weather doesn't really help

Hi bufferz. :)

Those numbers are really good so you must be pleased. 8)

I think it's because we are just coming to the end of winter which makes us all long for warmth, light and getting out and about - without frezing our toes and fingers off. We are all restless so need to find something to get busy on!

Even the animals are feeling it; our cat has been going mental for the last fortnight with chasing anything that moves and carrying stuff around; seems to have forgotten that she reached 16 years old this week! The birds are all busy nest building and shouting their heads off. The hens are coming back into lay - which is great. My husband has started sowing his veggie seeds - and I expect the weeds are already starting to grow and the grass will soon need cutting! You will soon be too busy to fall out with anyone!

i think that its more to do with the fact that you have more energy these days & you're getting fed up & bored with day to day things & thats why ur wife is seeing you as being 'moody'. i've experienced the same thing myself & found that even a 30 minute walk made a major difference, a little fresh air & time out the house will do you the world of good. even just walking along the local high street, buying a paper & going home should help!

Hi Bufferz
Just nipped on here to see how the world was doing - exactly because I am feeling moody and fed up myself! I agree it could be the weather (I should be out in the sun but it's flipping freezing up here) but I just thought to say to you, whatever you do, remember to tell your wife it's not about her. Tell her you're working on it and you don't know why you feel this way but you love her loads! No point in have an argument in the house as well as feeling down
Off to get some nuts to stem my own feelings - haven't done the argument bit yet but it could always happen when I get like this!

My husband takes Ibespartan (approval) [sp] it causes him to have mood swings, maybe this is what is happening to you?

Husbands and wives regularly fall out.

Diabetes can't be blamed for everything in life you know.
