Maybe think about building a boat!Had over 12 inches of rain over last two days and now waiting for tail end of cyclone to pass over - they say in about 4-5 hours - with another expected 3 - 4 inches. Not a problem if there is no wind. Temp 25oC, so very comfortable
Looks like we missed most of it - poor people up north have lost houses and businesses - Cat 5 cyclone not to be taken lightly, luckily no one killed or badly injured but 1000's without power and cut off with flood watersMaybe think about building a boat!
Welcome to FNQ ..... or "near" FNQ.
Mike (Melbourne)
FNQ refer to Far North Queensland (coast) where the cyclone hit RRB

Wet, windy and very cold we even had a light snowfall early on, a very grey sky and looks like we could have more snow.
Thankfully, yesterday was dry but freezing cold so everyone shivered in their wedding outfits but a wonderful day was had by all including little J. His daddy was very emotional when speaking about how close we came to not having such a wonderful day, J' s progress has been amazing and he didn't stop all afternoon
