I think it posts at a standard size, I crop a lot of my pics to pick out only the section I want, but post them the same size I think.(never really noticed)You can reduce the quality of the picture in a photo editing program, or if, for example, you've got a picture of lots of sky, you could crop the bottom of the picture (or sides) to reduce the physical size of it. If you're using a pc or laptop there are free program's that can reduce your photo file size
