When to test blood pressure

Type 2
Treatment type
Tablets (oral)
All this food sounds great but what time of the day is it best to take a blood pressure reading.

I have my main meal at 13.00 hrs
 
When you are sitting relaxed with no stressors, not hungry, thirsty or annoyed. BP is usually higher in themorning. I read in a health magazine that the arm you test is best elevated for a few minutes prior.

You’re welcome - just wanted to be sure other than that I can’t help you as I’ve never had to home test my blood pressure
 
Just to add to @Outlier ’s advice, make sure you don’t need a wee either!
