Where did I go wrong?

Smitha, start out slowly, start with a 30/60/ 30 .That is 30 for breakfast ,or less,60 for your main meal and 30 for other meal.

Ok so I was considering reducing my carbs. Not low carbing as such, but just seeing If cutting down makes any difference. But I already eat around that for a day anyway! It's more of a 30/40/50 but that's essentially the same.
I'm 5 ft 3" and weigh just under 9 stone so my portions aren't big which I suspect is why they're lower carb quantities already. Should I bother cutting down then or continue as I am?

If you need bread then I found one in waitrose which is only 7.9g carbs per slice and tastes a bit more substantial than nimble.

Sadly there's no waitrose where I live. Almost 3 hour drive to the nearest I believe!

I am Type 1 and having horrendous problems with calculating carbs.I managed to get down from 28 on diagnosis to an average of 5 - 9 ,now for some reason I am back up to 17 ! Eating the same foods (to the point of boredom) .HOW do you measure carbs please ??? I have to say I am also nursing my terminally ill husband so am stressed out 24/7 - this may be affecting my bloods
