Where to donate/get rid of old meters?

[erroneous]

I tried to look for answers on Google and here but couldn't find anything except for an american website. I now have at least 2 meters i don't use, plus one spare i keep in case of emergency. I also have pens that are almost brand new and a few lancet devices that i don't need.
I'm not sure if it's possible to donate them somewhere because they might be considered as "contaminated" once a person use it but if anybody know what to do with it, tell me.
Surely cleaning it properly and donating it to some charity would be better than throwing it in the bin, no?
