Although I tend to have high blood sugar & have been prediabetic, I am very slim. Having been ill I need to gain weight asap and have bought some whey protein powder. Trouble is I have now read differing opinions on whether or not this will cause sugar spikes. Can anyone help please?

In answer to your question it’ll very much depend on the ingredients and therefore the carb count. Can you tell us more about the product you are using?
