For some reason although I am on a low carb lifestyle I am struggling to lose weight. I just need to lose about 3/4 stone and I will be about the right weight. I was wondering if anyone has successfully used over the counter weight loss tablets. I am not on any medication and using plant sterols to manage my cholesterol. I am type 2 - currently 48 HBA1C and slowly falling.
Is that 3-4 stones or 0.75 stone (around 10lbs) you need to lose? Especially of you feel the need to trim off 10lbs, where will that leave your BMI? I'm not a huge fan of BMI, but unless you are a rugby player or international gymnast, it gives a decent idea.
Either way, I'd suggest either trimming back a little more on the carbs, and maybe parking a bit further from where you want to be. By that I mean at the "far end" of the supermerket carpark, or at the "other end" of the High STreet when shopping. That just tweaks the step count up a bit.
Many weight loss potions contain caffeine to try to buzz up your metabolism, or potions to encourage you to poo out dietary fat. Neither of those modes of operation seem very sexy to me.
