I was diagnosed 14 months ago following an emergency admission to hospital I was put on Metformin and Gliclazide.
I have tried very hard to loose weight ( nearly 3 stone and still working on it ) and to get my BG down. I have just started a regime of
withdrawing from Gliclazide.
I am now 1 months off Gliclizade and my own readings have gone up slightly especially the morning which has always been an issue.
I am about to go back to see the DN and I would like to be a little better informed about which other medication I could consider.
Is anyone able to help/ direct me to some reading?
