Which monitor

Hi if I do have to buy my own monitor can any one give me some recommendations please seen a few on eBay but wouldn't have a clue which one to buy thanks.

I assume you are going to have to pay for your testing strips also?

I have seen quite alot of people on here recommend the SD Codefree monitor.

You seem to be able to get 50 strips for around £7 on Amazon.

Yes most probably going to see what the diabetic nurse says on Wednesday I was diagnosed type 2 at the end of august no medication when I asked her about a monitor she said you get it free but said I don't need one. Reading loads on hear I feel I would benefit from having a monitor as I don't know how different food effects my blood sugar levels so if she refuses to give me a monitor I will buy my own thanks.

A lot of the time the companies are giving away free meters as they make their money from the strips. Worth looking online or trying a few
