Hey everyone,

After over a year of asking and working towards getting an insulin pump I am finally going for an assessment next month! I am hoping this will lead to me finally getting a pump, but then the question is which one to pick?

I’m looking between the Medtronic 640g, Animas Vibe & Accu Chek Insight..

What are people’s opinions on these three pumps? Pros? Cons?

I have just made my choice, I'm going for the Animas Vibe, it's a hard decision!

I found the best way was to write down what I wanted from my pump and then go through tick boxing the ones that met my needs.

For me it was a close call between the Vibe and the Insight, the Insight won because of my need to sometimes operate via a remote.

Are you allowed to consider the OmniPod? I've been using it for three weeks. Glad not to have a tube although it's larger on the body consoles with a tubed "set" but without the separate box.
