Pump
I've been type1 for 30 years and just got approved for a pump :-)

Having researched the pumps available the Cellnovo sounds best, closely followed by the Omnipod but I'm having trouble pursuading my Pump Nurse to get me either of these. They want me to have the Roche Combo but I don't like the idea of the tube.

Any pointers in favour of these pumps and which to choose would be much appreciated.

You don't notice the tubing so don't worry about that side of things. I suspect the negative response to the Omnipod is the cost as the consumables are almost double when worked out over a 4 year period compared to a tubed pump.

Thanks.

Before being approved I was offered the Cellnovo but that offer has been withdrawn due to "technical issues" and "cost" so you probably right about the Omnipod.

My main concerns are that I'm a very restless sleeper (move about all night) and due to an earlier operation I go to the toilet several times a day. Both these make me worried the tubing will get tangled on me or my clothes?

Also, where do you keep the pump? Dont like the idea of my pocket or my belt!
