Which week is best for a C-section

Hi
I am booked in for a C-section at 38 weeks. Would it be better to have the baby at 37 weeks to reduce the chances of complications, such as issues with placenta failing. I was just wondering what people’s view are on this.
Thanks

Hello congratulations on your pregnancy:)
It really depends how are you sugars doing ? What is your hba1.... I have 3 boys and was induced at 38 weeks with two of them and one was 35 weeks due to possible placenta failure ( baby wasn’t growing and my sugars were low constantly which are signs ) as long as your scans are all healthy I would stick with 38 weeks x
