it's an operation where part of the pancreas and some other stuff is removed, usually because of cancer.
This often leads to type 3C diabetes, which is diabetes caused by damage to the pancreas, so not T2 (insulin resistance) or T1 (an autoimmune reaction killing the insulin producing cells in your pancreas).
