I just got in fromleaving a chunk of my pension in Tesco's and walking half a mile fro the bus stop with the resultant heavy bag and found an envelope on my door mat. Friend had dropped in an article from April's Saga magazine,Extolling the virtue of a low carb diet and referring to " The Diabetes Revolution" by ?Dr. Charles Clarke and Maureen Clarke
Saga's Health editor tried the low carb approach and is vouching for it.

What do you think of the professor quoted in the last bit, who says everybody gains the weight back and isn't enthusiastic about low carb?
I bet he's a crony of our diabetologist, who came originally from Oxford. You already know what I think of him.

I haven't seen the article, but I know how hard Prof. Clark is working for the greater good.
