Latest HBA1c come back at 5.8 and have now been taken off gliclazide :D .
Unfortunately he says no more test strips.
I will have to persuade my GP that the improvements are as a result of regular testing at home.
 
Well done Marzeater, thats's a good HBA, shame about the strips but perhaps making a case that you have achieved a good level with the help of testing might change the GP's mind ?
 
I've pigged out on an all inclusive holiday a couple of weeks before the test as well so I was even more surprised.
Maybe not pigged out, I just made sure I got my money's worth :lol:
