Why all this bad luck

Life often seems unfair but there will always be those worse off. Life is precious, accept your lot and treat these problems as challenges not as bad luck. Hope things turn around for you soon !

You didn't do anything to deserve this. It is as you said bad luck.All I can suggest is that you try to manage your blood glucose as well as you can to allow your body tro get better as fast and as much as it can

It's all too easy to feel sorry for ourselves, I've had one medical problem after another for over 45 years, collecting medical conditions like stamps. LADA is the most "inconvenient" of all my illnesses but I choose to live with these conditions rather than suffer from them. I'm currently waiting for a diagnosis for my latest problem but seem to have the experts baffled on this one. I have days when I'm in total despair worrying about what the future holds but from a very early age my mother told me "no matter how bad you feel, there is always someone worse off". I try to remember this and count my blessings when I'm feeling really down. Maybe this would work for you? Good luck, hope you feel better soon

I know just how you feel!! My hubby has been a T1 for 30 years with many complications, he is always ill, his job is terrible, we have both recently lost our mothers to cancer, oh I could go on for hours about all the bad luck we have had the whole of both of our lives.

It's hard when others around you have such good lives, no health problems, lots of money, overseas holidays, something we wouldn't dare do if we could afford it! I often get very down about it all and think why us, but my hubby even though he really does suffer at times is still upbeat, and always says we go through this because we have each other!! So sweet, the best advise I have ever had was from a lady who's husband is also always ill. She said you have to accept what you have been given in life and count your blessings, so true, sometimes it's hard though. Hope you are feeling better soon.

i hate to hear of someone with really bad luck with health problems, its so awful and cruel
i was born with a heart that didnt work properly and now have a pacemaker to keep alive, then had leaky valves into my lungs, and my heart swelled up to 3x its size. then diagnosed with scoliosis and have to have an 8 hour operation to insert titatnium rods into my spine which could of left me paralysed. then developed atrial fibrillation and had to be difibrillated
and then developed t1 diabetes.
but as above ive always said to my family members, things could be so much worse and theres always someone in a worse situation.
i know its hard at times when your worried sick. count your blessings and take each day as they come.
