Why and When?

I am keep thinking since been diagnosed with T2 few weeks ago, why there is no cure for this disease, if some research is going on, when it will be available?

I know I may be going through the denial mode, but there must be something after getting too much advancement in medical science??

No??

Curing diabetes is not cost effective. Treating the symtoms and the results of high blood sugar is big business, and the companies making the drugs and the equipment that we all use are RAKING the money in hand over fist.

But maybe I'm just being cynical, and the reason that there is not a cure is just that it is too **** difficult to produce one...

The drug industry is big business, raking in billions a year on the nations ill's. I don't doubt for one moment that they are looking for a cure to diabetes and other conditions, but the biggest gains for the pharmaceutical giants is in the treatment of, rather than finding a cure.

Fingers crossed anyway!
